A few tips for ISV Community Members

Welcome to ISV Global Community!

There is a tremendous change taking place in software business, not only in business models, but also how you design and build software. The idea behind this community is to connect people from different parts of the world so we can share experiences in multiple topics that we want to share. This community is run be the members, I will only act as facilitator and will add new elements to the community as time goes by.

You can invite people to your network by sending a request and these people will automatically become part of your network. Each person in the community can request other people to become friends and you can also ban a person from the network in case the person do not know how to behave. We do not accept spamming, the idea behind the this community is to share and educate. However, if you happen to initiate a discussion with somebody, there is no reason why you could not do business together. If you do, that is a true sign of that this community has given you value.

I also hope that you will contribute useful information to the community either by blogging or commenting on this. Each of you have your own page where you can put RSS feeds, share pictures or videos or even initiate a forum discussion.

I will add links to useful books in different areas as this happens to be a passion of mine. I will also create a note that shows all of the updates that has been done to the community in form of functionality or other useful items.

Tips

  • Get connected with people by requesting them to become friends with you
  • Share topics that you would like to start discussion on
  • Send me ideas of groups that you would like to see created and things that you would find valuable.
